Booking and Payment Details
- Reservations for car hire can be made through our website, over the phone, or directly at our Buckingham office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required upon collection of the vehicle. All prices are stated in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment providers.
4. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection, a thorough inspection is required to identify any pre-existing damage, which must be reported to us immediately. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and signed by both parties. It is your responsibility to return the vehicle in the same condition as it was received, accounting for normal wear and tear. 7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is strictly prohibited. Engaging in racing, off-roading, or other risky endeavors is not allowed. Transporting hazardous materials, sub-letting the vehicle, or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Driving under the influence of substances, exceeding designated passenger or weight limits, or operating outside agreed geographic boundaries without permission is not permitted.
Breach of terms may lead to rental cancellation and charges.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Buckingham Car Hire accepts no responsibility for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, that may arise from your use of our services. Our liability for any claims is limited to the total amount you paid for rentals in the past year. This limitation does not apply to claims for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.

These Terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any disagreements will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
